About Carleigh
Carleigh Standifer is a K-12 educator and co-founder of EasyClass AI. Before EasyClass, she was a 4th grade classroom teacher — the kind who stayed late to hand-write rubrics, spent weekends building worksheets, and graded papers in the car line. She knew there had to be a better way.
In 2023, Carleigh co-founded EasyClass with the goal of building AI tools that actually reflect how teachers work — not how engineers imagine teachers work. Every feature on EasyClass started as something she needed in her own classroom: faster lesson plans, rubrics that match her actual assignments, exit tickets she didn't have to write from scratch at 10pm.
Carleigh writes about AI in education with a focus on practical application — what works in real classrooms, what doesn't, and how teachers can use AI without losing their professional judgment. Her writing is read by thousands of teachers across 120+ countries.
