By accessing or using EasyClass AI ("EasyClass," "we," "us," or "our") at easyclass.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

EasyClass AI is an AI-powered platform that provides educational tools and resources for teachers, including:

• AI-generated lesson plans, worksheets, and educational content
• Digital display boards and presentation tools
• Classroom management utilities
• Educational content creation and organization features
• QR code generation and bingo board creation tools
• AI grading and assessment assistance

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using EasyClass, you represent and warrant that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Are a teacher, educator, or educational professional
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Will use the Service only for lawful educational purposes

4. Account Registration

4.1. Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.2. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Remain inactive for extended periods
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Input student personal information into the Service

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1. Permitted Uses

You MAY:

• Use the Service for legitimate educational purposes
• Create and share educational content
• Access and use AI-generated materials in your classroom
• Collaborate with other educators through the platform
• Generate classroom materials, lesson plans, and assessments

5.2. Prohibited Uses

You MAY NOT:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Create inappropriate or harmful content
• Use the Service to collect student personal information
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without permission
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use automated systems or bots without permission

5.3. Prohibited AI Uses

You agree NOT to use our AI tools to generate or create content for:

• Academic Dishonesty: Student essays, assignments to pass off as student work, answer keys for unauthorized assessments, or enabling cheating/academic fraud
• Harmful Content: Discriminatory, racist, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, politically biased (in public schools), religiously insensitive (in public schools), or bullying content
• Circumventing Limits: Abusing free tier limits, sharing accounts, using automation/bots, or reselling AI-generated content commercially without authorization
• Misrepresentation: Claiming AI-generated content as entirely your own work, representing AI suggestions as guaranteed best practices, or generating false data/citations

6. Content Ownership and Rights

6.1. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using EasyClass. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, process your content through our AI systems, and provide the Service to you. This license is non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and limited to operating the Service. We will not sell, distribute, or publicly display your content without your permission.

6.2. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI tools based on your prompts belongs to you to the extent permissible by law and may be used freely in your educational activities. However:

• AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection under current law
• We make no warranties about the originality or uniqueness of AI-generated content
• You are responsible for verifying that AI-generated content does not infringe third-party rights

7. Privacy, Data Protection, and Student Information

7.1. Prohibited Student Data

You MUST NOT input:

• Student names, email addresses, or contact information
• Student ID numbers or government identifiers
• Student grades, test scores, or performance data
• Student behavioral records or disciplinary history
• Student photographs, videos, or biometric data
• Student medical or health information
• Any other personally identifiable student information (PII) under FERPA, COPPA, or state privacy laws

7.2. Teacher Responsibility

You are solely responsible for complying with FERPA, COPPA, state privacy laws, and your school's policies. Inputting student personal information constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

8. Payment Terms

8.1. Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited features. No payment information is required for free accounts.

8.2. Paid Subscriptions

If you choose a paid plan:

• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through account settings
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice

8.3. Refund Policy

• Monthly Subscriptions: Cancel anytime; no refund for current billing period
• Annual Subscriptions: 30-day money-back guarantee from initial purchase date
• After 30 days: No refunds for unused portion of annual subscription

9. AI Content Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1. No Educational Outcomes Guarantee

We make NO guarantees that:

• AI-generated lesson plans will meet educational standards
• Content will align with specific curriculum requirements
• Use of our tools will improve student outcomes
• AI-generated assessments accurately measure student knowledge

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYCLASS AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Educational outcomes or student performance results
• Third-party AI service failures or interruptions

Total Liability Cap: Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States of America.

11.2. Dispute Resolution Process

1. Informal Negotiation: Contact legal@easyclass.ai before filing formal disputes
2. Mediation: Optional non-binding mediation with mutually agreed mediator
3. Binding Arbitration: Final disputes resolved through AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules

11.3. Class Action Waiver

YOU AND EASYCLASS AI AGREE that each party may bring claims only in an individual capacity, NOT as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.

12. General Provisions

12.1. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12.2. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms. You may close your account anytime. We may terminate accounts for violations, extended inactivity, or business reasons. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data.

12.3. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
